A Data-enabled Design approach is used to explore novel approaches to improve indoor air quality for Philips. Sensor data (air quality) has been collected using iteratively developed sensor boxes, after which it has been used during participant interviews to explore the design context by spotting irregularities and patterns in the data. Based on the findings, a concept is presented (Pebble), which allows users to grow their own natural air-filter over time.
